No pest is responsible for ruining more backyard barbecues, family get-togethers, or relaxing afternoons by the pool than the mosquito. These flying insects have plagued Texan families for years; and while many view them as a serious nuisance, mosquitoes can also be dangerous.
Mosquitoes can carry the Zika Virus, the West Nile Virus, Malaria, and others. While it is impossible to completely eliminate mosquitos, we are very effective at drastically reducing their population on your property and as well as preventing the majority of those remaining from being able to reproduce. By targeting the areas they commonly nest in with our mosquito foggers, new mosquitoes continue will die off as they seek refuge from the heat.

Our Mosquito Control Approach
We have found that our strategic approach to mosquito control is the most effective way to drastically reduce the mosquito population on your property. Our approach aims to first control the mosquitoes that are currently on your property, disrupt the breeding cycle of any remaining mosquitoes, and significantly delay and deter the return of new mosquitoes.
We concentrate our efforts on bushes, trees, patios, awnings, shrubs, and other areas where mosquitoes tend to spend time to maximize our impact.
1. Get Rid of Current Active Mosquitoes
Our first aim is to get rid of the mosquitoes that are currently bothering you. Our mosquito control treatment will infect both mosquitoes that come directly in contact with the mosquito mist and those that land or rest on treated areas.
You may notice that infected mosquitoes usually take an hour or two to actually die. This is by design, and it actually increases the effectiveness of our mosquito control as they carry the treatment to other parts of the property and beyond.
2. Disrupt the Breeding Cycle of Mosquitoes
We increase results by doing more than just killing the living mosquitoes. We also use a special formula as an insect growth regulator (IGR) to disrupt and frustrate the breeding cycle of mosquitoes. Infected adult mosquitoes carry this treatment throughout the property, spreading the IGR to other areas and mosquitoes. This will help to decrease future breeding on your property.
3. Delay the Inevitable Return of Mosquitoes
This is Texas. Mosquitoes will always eventually come back. We significantly delay their return, however, with our mosquito treatment that contains a residual effect.
We strategically apply the formula in places where mosquitoes prefer to land and hang such as the underside of patios, awnings, shrubs, and trees. When new mosquitoes travel to your property to land and rest, they will be infected as well.
The objective of our mosquito control treatment is to not just get rid of living mosquitoes on your property right now. These three methods work together to control both current and future mosquito populations in your yard.
After Our Mosquito Treatment
Safety is important to us. While we want to get rid of mosquitoes, we also don’t want to damage your health or the environment. This is why the mosquito control products we apply with our mosquito foggers have minimal toxicity and are relatively non-toxic. They are even sometimes used as our broadcast spray on the foundation of the home.
However, it is recommended that people and pets not contact the treated areas until the product is dry. As a best practice, customers and their pets should remain inside (or away from treated areas) for 30 to 45 minutes after our mosquito service is performed.
What Results Should You Expect?
There is no way to permanently eliminate mosquitoes from any given property, but you should expect to see a significant reduction in mosquito activity from the day of treatment to the following two to three weeks.
We strongly recommend another mosquito control treatment after a month. Because mosquito populations are a problem here in Texas, best results will be achieved by consistently treating to reduce the local population.
Mosquitoes in Texas
Texas is home to 85 different species of mosquitoes. You’ve probably heard that mosquitoes need standing water to breed, but some floodwater species can actually lay eggs in moist soil. The soil doesn’t even have to remain moist. These survivalists can hatch even after the soil has dried.
Of course, we also have the standard water-breeding mosquitoes circulating all throughout Texas. And these resourceful species don’t always need a lot of water. A small cavity that collects a little bit of water such as a bottlecap or a puddle in a birdbath is enough for these dangerous insects.
And don’t forget the mosquitoes who reproduce in streams and running water. Basically, mosquitoes are everywhere in Texas.
And no time of day is safe from mosquitoes either. Most species do their biting at dawn and dusk, but some bite all day long. And since they love the warm months, high populations of mosquitoes tend to stick around Texas almost all year long.
While there are a lot of things to be proud of in Texas, our high mosquito population is not one of them. That’s why it’s so critical for Texas residents to have a plan that involves an effective mosquito control system. You need to protect your family’s health and comfort, and drastically reducing the mosquito population on your property is one of the best ways to do that.
